The Rhode Island Medical Society graciously welcomes those with the desire to return something to our noble profession and our community through the various funds of the RIMS Foundation.Gifts to the RIMS Foundation are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Your gift can be unrestricted, or you can direct it to one or more of the special-purpose funds within the RIMS Foundation, including:
The Physician Health Fund, which supports the work of the Physician Health Program in restoring the professional and personal lives of colleagues when health concerns threaten their ability to practice.
The Benevolence Fund, which offers direct financial assistance to RIMS members in weathering a personal crisis. When the chips are really down, this Fund can provide one of the most important tangible benefits of membership in RIMS.
The Professional Liability Fund, which supports public education on the societal costs of the tort system and on options for effective reforms that would benefit all parties.
Please write your check to the “RIMS Foundation” or use this credit card form and return by mail to RIMS. Again, all contributions to the RIMS Foundation are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
To arrange a legacy gift to the Rhode Island Medical Society, please contact Newell Warde, PhD, Executive Director, at 401-331-3207.
